We had an amazing romantic escape in this beautiful renovated guest house. the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the continental breakfast was delicious and great value for money. We also loved the fact that we had access to a clean and well-equipped kitchen if we wanted to cook our own meals. the location was perfect, in a quiet and historic village with easy parking. It was an ideal stopover for our journey.
There were a couple of minor downsides to our stay. there was a yapping dog nearby that could be a bit annoying at times.

The family room at La Morada Del Cid Burgos was perfect for us. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with good wifi reception. The friendly owner made us feel welcome, and we enjoyed taking our dog for walks in the nearby area. Plus, having parking right outside the accommodation was convenient. Despite the restaurant in the village being closed, we drove into Burgos which was just a short distance away for some delicious meals. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! It's located in a quiet village, near the city, which is super convenient. The rooms are perfectly adequate and the breakfast is jaw-dropping with fresh orange juice, delicious cakes, and fresh fruit. You can even request different pillows if you don't like the Spanish style. The lounge is really comfortable and the village is great for a stroll and a drink at the cafe. The hosts are just wonderful, always ready to help. And the best part? They have a free and very clean kitchen for self-catering. This place is a hidden gem for a stopover or a longer stay. Highly recommend it! Plus, the rates are really good and they only charge €5.00 for pets. Love it! Free wi-fi is available.

I had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem in a charming rural village north of Burgos. The owners of this guest house have put an incredible amount of work and creativity into renovating and preserving the character of this old house. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, and the modern bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. The hostess was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The value for money was exceptional, and the free parking right in front of the house was convenient. I'll definitely recommend this hotel for a unique and memorable stay.

The peaceful location and beautiful surroundings were the best aspects of our stay. We enjoyed taking our dogs for walks in the safe and scenic area behind the property. The accommodation had a lovely rustic feel, and it was comfortable and clean. It was also a convenient stop-off while traveling through Spain.
The limited options for eating out in the village. The two nearby restaurants were overpriced, leaving the only alternative as the village cafe.

The breakfast provided was delicious and filling, giving us a great start to our day of exploring. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel was located in a historic village, adding to the charm and uniqueness of our stay. the owners were very attentive and made sure that we had a pleasant experience.
One of the bedrooms had a lingering smell of cigarettes, which was quite unpleasant for non-smokers like us. we found that some of the nearby restaurants were not always open, so it would have been helpful to have been informed beforehand.
